Planned Breedings
In order to raise the best possible companions/show dogs/performance dogs, we believe in raising our puppies following Carmen Battaglia's Early Neurological Stimulation program and Jane Lindquist's Puppy Culture program.

Under the biosensor program, it is believed that 35% of all behavior is inherited and 65% is attributable to other influences such as training, management and nutrition.  The biosensor program is concerned with early neurological development in order to give the dog a superior advantage.  Its development utilizes five exercises which are designed to stimulate the neurological system.  Each workout involves handling puppies daily and performing a series of five exercises.  This is done from day 3 through day 16 and it is believed that because this interval of time is a period of rapid neurological growth and development, it is of great importance to the individual puppies.

Puppy culture is a program used by breeders and puppy owners, to improve the lives of their puppies and to limit behavioral issues by helping puppies to cope with and move past things that would otherwise cause issues as an adult.  They learn at an early age, how to handle stress and cope with it.  Puppy culture provides more brain development, more bonding, more balance, and the ability to better adjust.  This is a 12 week program that we highly encourage puppy owners to continue after they take their puppies home.

As you embark on your journey to find the breeder and puppy for you, I highly recommend reading the following.  It may help guide you through the process and make it a little easier.  https://rufflyspeaking.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/puppy-buyer-ettiquette/

We are excited to announce the following planned breedings.  With being a rare breed you will find that most breeders have wait lists started and as such we do for these as well.

All puppies go to their new homes after 9 weeks of age. All puppies go to their new homes with a puppy wellness check, at least one vaccination, microchipped, dewormed, eyes checked by canine ophthalmologist and cardiac checked. All of our puppies are sent home with a puppy care package (usually including a toy, lead, treats, food, chewies and other random fun things we find for the puppies), vet records, completed microchip registration and completed puppy registration.  We do check all of our dogs being bred for hips, elbows, patella, cardiac, thyroid and eyes. This can be confirmed (for ANY field spaniel) at www.ofa.org.
